I think drinking tea is a cultural thing in Britain so everyone drink it.  By drinking it a lot, you come to like it and by liking it you want to drink it.

Just stepped in off the latest recruiting wagon to the Black Tower - seems like making a tiny flame glow in your hands is something common around here. Anyway, I like to fight with swords, usually against people who spread chaos (boring, I know) so just think of me as a sort of Judge Dredd, with a sword... and a teeny weeny bit of compassion. Im just gonna get comfy here, then start prowling the White Tower for an attractive Domani Aes Sedai I can bond and show off. Anyone wanna be my wingman? 8)
