As for the pats. I didn't watch that game but.. If they punted, would they have won?

Cause... only reason I can see you wanting to 'go for it' is for the gamble that if your going to lose anyways...

Course they got an interception and lost by even more right? Or were they ahead to begin with and pulled the vikings 1st loss? ;) (3TDs in like 2 minutes)

They were in the lead and were trying to run the clock out.  4 and 2 on their own 29.  they go for it and don't make it.  Peyton marches his team the 29 yards taking most of the time and throws the go ahead TD to Reggie Wayne with less than 20 seconds left.  The Colts also scored like 2 or 3 TDs in the final 5 min.

The Pats thing is something that - if works - makes Bilicheck to be a football genius. If it fails -which it did - he is a football fool.

 

Of course if you consider that the Pats were leading by something like 31-7 going into the 4th, the fact it came down to the play is the real travesty. They should have been able to put the Colts away.

 

Update for teh Browns/Ravens game: Ravens win in an ugly game points-wise, 16-0.

Lesean McCoy is good enough to establish some running.  He has youth and enthusiasm on his side.  Westbrook is just as ancient as you are. :(  Even though the Cowboys won, yeesh they look really bad.
