He's fighting a war along the Gulf coast. *grins* He's at one of the SCA's biggest Wars this week. He'll be home on Monday.

oh yeah, but didn't he go there a while ago? how long is the war?

*laughs* This is the second one he's been to lately. He was in Pheonix the week before my birthday. He left on Tuesday to go to Gulf Wars.

so, a full week of battle? fun!

haha, i also want to learn more of the bow. done some archery before but i'm not great

Now, I taught myself how to shoot a standard bow and arrow when I was in middle school. I have my dad's old standard bow around here somewhere. I can't handle a compound bow, I'm just a weakling. LOL

never tried a compound bow before, don't some of the new ones actually make it easier for weaker people to shoot them?

Yeah, but even then...*laughs* I'll stick with my standard bow. I like it better, anyway.

it gives a good workout when you do it enough

That would be cool to learn how to use a bow.
