Sorry Ti, one last spam cause I gotta throw this out there. First off though, Welcome good friend! I can't believe all the new people I keep bumpin into. We newbies gotta keep it close ya know!! Glad to meet you.

 

Now, real quick. Marta, I was in the same boat not to long ago. I had friend who I was closer to than just about anyone and absolutey infatuated with her. Not peepin through bushes crazy like boops at the moat but would have and did do things for this girl I never would have done for my own blood. And I never said a thing. All the way up to the day she got married. years upon years. Finally she told me she knew and felt the same but didn't want to risk it. Now, we don't talk. Maybe a facebook thing every now and then but we never tried and I still think about it. ten years later. It's better to have tried.

Millon, I agree wholeheartedly. I loved once, deeply. He nearly destroyed me when he left, but even prior to that, he never treated me well. Even so, this is better than to have never known, or to have always wondered. There were so many beautiful things that happened to me, inside, that I wouldn't have had if I hadn't known him. Great joy and great pain often go hand in hand. This was the man who taught me I was beautiful, and to this day, I still believe it. This was the man that awakened the most amazing feelings inside me that I didn't know were there. Those are huge gifts, even though they probably meant nothing to him. It took me six years to finally be completely over him. Now I can finally look him in the eye, should we ever meet again, and treat him as I would anyone else I once knew, rather than long for him or want to run. He is finally nothing more than a part of my past. I hope one of you can get something out of this. lol
