In answer to your question, Talya, reading the books wouldn't give anyone any sort of advantage in this game.  I just really like the books and thought it would make a good theme. ;)  So if you haven't read 'em, you're totally fine. :D

I actually posted to sign up then went back and read the number of posts people had made... giving me a  moment of panic when I thought that I had perhaps been too late O_O but I'm #14 so it's all good.
