Book Three is complete!

Hah! I really liked it when Matt was in the Stone and he had just finished beating one of the high lords, when another came in behind him and he 'luckily' knocked him out cold when he was sheathing his quarterstaff.

 

I really enjoyed getting perspectives from everyone this go around instead of focusing everything on Rand. (even though everything in its turn eventually comes back to him)

Any ideas when I should dig in to New Spring? I found it at half-price yesterday in perfect hardback condition for 4 dollars and Lan is my favorite character so I'm curious when a good time to get started would be.

If you don't mind taking a break from the main flow of the series you could probably read New Spring at any time at this point.

The end of book 3 is definitely one of my favorite parts of the series.  You could just tell with all the plot threads heading for Tear that something awesome was going to happen and you aren't let down. 

So glad you're really starting to get into the series. The second and third books were both amazing, and the next three really pick things up too. There are some pretty big and awesome changes that happen during the fourth book, which I hope you also enjoy. If you liked Mat's perspective, you're really going to start liking him a lot more in the coming books. Heh, it's great how he saves the girls, but they're not really too grateful to him, I thought that was funny.

 

 

Also, I actually haven't read New Spring, and I'm at the end of tenth book as of now. I guess I can't fairly give you an opinion, but man the fourth book is good and I personally think you should read it next.

 

 

I'm only 100 pages into the fourth book and I must say it's absolutely phenomenal. The cocks are crowing and the trouble is stirring. Rand just faced himself in the mirrors and we're not quite sure who has taken the liberty of attempted murder on the three Ta'veren.

 

Also - Moraine is getting on my nerves. =P
