I've had the thought several times that Moiraine should count as ta'veren.  Whether or not she shapes the pattern around her I don't know, but she sure does happen to be there when stuff happens.  Starting with being the Accepted tending to the Keeper when Gitara Moroso had the foretelling that the Dragon was born 20 years ago.  And then the band of borderlanders she happens to meet while she is up there includes the displaced Malkieri king.  And she was personally involved with two Amyrlins from her earliest days on.  Not just around them, but roommates with one and particularly attended to by another.  And she found a third Amyrlin while gathering up Rand & Mat.  If she's not ta'veren (which she'd not, or those with the Talent to see it would have said something), she certainly is a big deal.  So much of the Wheel's pattern would have been different without her.

 

I'd love to see Loial and Moiraine both return as heroes bound to the horn and bound to return to the Pattern.

Very astute Quis, she's likely a minor ta'varen and I think you will indeed see her when the Horn is sounded. I don't think the prophecy is very specific when mentioning what heroes will be called.

BTW, Moiraine rocks.  She was maddening sometimes but I never got the point that I didn’t like her.

I love math. :)  Although I'm not quite nerdy enough to actually celebrate pi day, I still like that math has its own holiday of sorts. 

 

Fractals are my favorite mathy thing.  There should be a Mandelbrot Day.
