I confess to not having read the past 5 pages of posts.  *shakes her head sadly*  I need to stop going on LOAs.  Granted, this time it wasn't my fault.  My modem died and it took a week to get it replaced by the cable company.  Most of that week was my own delay, waiting to see if the modem would come back to me or not.  I have horrible luck with modems, they die on my at an amazing rate.  I think it's because my cable company recycles their modems whenever someone leaves or changes their service, so I never know if I'm getting a gently used one, or one that was on its last legs to begin with.

 

No problems this time, but the time before this the cable guy plugged in 3 modems before he found one that was working.  Lovely.

 

Think happy modem thoughts for me for this one.  :)

Oh, I don't *always* read the back pages, but the posts on the Spam thread are so short, and usually so amusing, that I like to do it most of the time.

 

Of course, it was much easier to read all the posts when I was posting on every page or even more frequently.  I did not read the 500+ pages that were already here when I joined the Kin.
