Will Perrin become a new betrayer of hope?

Featured Replies

The Betrayer of Hope HAS to be an earthshattering revelation - so it HAS to be someone big.

My votes are as follows:

Perrin:

He's nothing but emotion - so easily controlled... especially when he admitted he'd make a deal with the DO to save Faile.  Ten to one says a Dark Friend was listening in to that one...

Loial:

I mention him ONLY because he's someone that nobody would expect.  A circle of 13+13 could turn him...

Galad:

Again, nobody would expect it.  He could easily rationalize his actions as being "right".

Verin:

His one-time closest advisor, and considering recent developments, I think she's a shoe-in for the title.  I say this with the understanding that roles are pliable in Randland, and while the Betrayer was a HUGE player last cycle, it may not be as big this time around.  Still, she was a pretty big player, especially how close to the core group she was for so long.

Loial could not be turned, only channelers can be 13x13. Galad will not, as of KoD he is the leader of the Whitecloaks and willing to fight beside the "Witches" against the Shadow. I can't see this as even a remote possibility.

He said it, but I doubt if it actually came down to it that he would do it. Peolpe say stupid s*** when they're angry.

And he's quite methodical in his thinking most of the time, not "emotional".

I vote egwene, she has many of the same thoughts perrin has about faile but in respect to the WT, and they arent nearly as often as perrins
