They probably think you're a forty-five year old man out to do something profane to her in a dark alley.

Or, less severe, "uh-oh, a boy!"

Actually, it seems they wanted to determine how much I'm online, and looked up "this DSage guy" while they were at it.

They seem to have an enormous ability for keeping track of you. Maybe you really do have a GPS chip in your head.

Oh, you guys just don't know my mom. ::)  She is like an investigative reporter, only more shameless and persistent. *rofl    bulldozer, eh?  ouch.

I was talking about meesh's head, actually, which to my knowledge has not been recently bulldozered, although I suppose it could use a little landscaping.

Well, 15 years down the road, when my youngest brother is 18, I doubt my mom will be that bad either.

I'm her first, and I've gotten screwed over so many times because of it.  The only thing I've got on my younger siblings is that I have a HUGE photo album FULL of pictures of my first few years.  The only one that even comes close to me is my youngest brother, and that's because I can't keep my own camera off of him.

But, it could just be that my mom just can't accept that I'm an adult. :D

Legally I am.

And I don't see what 21 has to do with it.

Alcohol hardly makes a man.

But, I'm pretty sure that legally you only have to be 18 to be an adult. :D

And being old enough to drink alcohol would change my parents' view of me not a whit.

Well, not really.

And adult is 'a person who has attained the age of maturity as specified by law.'

Maturity.  Someone who is a mature adult can take responsibility for their own action.  An Adult has to take responsibility for their own actions.

So, if you are an adult at 18, why can't you drink until 21?
