We had Pizza Hut tonight...it was either that or La Casa Grande, and most of us weren't in the mood for more Americanized Mexican food.

We were supposed to go to Applebee's in Iowa City because we got a gift certificate there for Christmas, but it got too late to go, so my parents took us out to eat locally instead.  I didn't really feel like going out to eat anyway, and I didn't have the best time, but it was okay.

Neither had I (downhill, that is.  I went cross country last year), until about a week ago.  I used to think that I wouldn't like skiing, but it turned out to be really awesome. :D

You should try some time if you can (although it can be expensive unless you go on a special deal day).  It feels great.

Yeah, that's been my biggest problem, is money.  My family is too poor for that kind of thing.  Someday, though...

I did some cross-country skiing on a class trip when I was like eight. That's about it.

One of the schools I went to had a class trip every year where they went skiing (the 6th graders), but a year before I would've been able to do that, we moved. ::)

Normally it costs like $60 if you're renting skis and boots.  But we got a day where it was only 20.
