Ugh, I was busy all day! THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN IN JANUARY

WHATEVER I WAS BUSY MOST OF THE DAY TOO.

Wouldn't know. Wasn't here!

I wasn't either, sadly.

And neither was anybody else!

So yeah, school was canceled for today and tomorrow because of the terrible ice storm we had today.  At least they're sensible.

 

My mom wouldn't pull out of our garage to take me to work until I called to ask if I still needed to come in.  Which was silly, because I work at the Golden Arches.  Like they're really going to close just because the weather is crap and the roads are dangerous. ::)

 

It was SLOW.  Half the people who were supposed to be there couldn't make it in, but it was so slow that a few people got sent home early so there were only four of us running the store, during the lunch rush.  Though, the busiest we ever got was with 3 customers inside ordering at the same time as 4 cars were going through the drive-thru.  It was DEAD.. I did a lot of cleaning, and a lot of taking orders for front counter as well as filling/handing out orders for drive thru, at the same time.

 

It was the longest 4 hours of my life.

When I worked at Suckway and it got boring I would pull up Notepad on the register computer and start keeping a log of various random thoughts. Accidentally left it up one night after leaving. Scott and Robin were working the overnight and were kept amused by it. Such as the one where I mentioned that a co-worker should probably shave her moustache.

Heh, it would be nice if we had a computer...
