You know, my previous complaints about the Black Tower poaching our turf were too narrow, I realize. Fiddles will never thrive as once it did because EVERY ORG IS A SPAM FORUM, even the staff boards!

 

That's depressing. Would you be happy if they did away with Fiddles, then, and called DM social side the Spam Side?

I don't know what I want. I don't want to tell people to stop having fun on the other boards, but at the same time, why should they come here if they can do whatever just the same on all the other boards?

I know what you mean. Fiddles has pretty much become redundant. Just a different "crowd," is all.

Sometimes I wonder if the only reason people still come here is because I'm here and not anywhere else.

That would be me, because the BT pretty much allows me to spam to my heart's content.

FYI, I only post places if there are people there I like to post with; I'm not really all that dedicated to any board in particular. I don't want Fiddles to die, because it definitely has a different feel from any other boards and I think it's great, but honestly, I only get on the internet for social interaction. If you weren't here, there wouldn't be any reason for me to post in Fiddles.

This is going to sound like bragging even though it isn't meant that way, but if I hadn't come back, there wouldn't have been a Fiddlesticks this year, so...

Doesn't sound like bragging to me. It makes sense, unfortunately. I mean, if they asked me RIGHT NOW to mod Fiddles again, I would, but RIGHT NOW I'm unemployed and figuring out what my next step is, so I'm in between busy times. XD

 

But everyone who grew in Fiddles and made Fiddles grow seems to have other stuff going on for them, now.
