We're going to be making the back up of the site sometime after midnight on the West Coast tonight.

Given that tomorrow is going to be ebook cover release day I take it that the thread with peoples opinions on the cover will be lost.

 

Almost a whole month of posts being lost is such a long time :/

Why exactly is the move taking so long?  I've been on other boards that have completely changed their software and it takes days not months...

 

I mean no offense, I've just never heard of something like this taking so long, maybe there is something I'm missing.

You'd have to ask Jason directly about that. My guess is that we're being careful due to all the issues we've had in the past when we've tried to upgrade software. It never seems to go well for us.

I have another question about the new boards:  will there be more graemlins for us to use?  The 15 that are on here rarely allow me to express my feelings properly!
