I personally am glad that there is not going to be a Will Turner. I also think that they have taken the PotC WAY too far. The first was GREAT! The second was ok, and the third was TERRIBLE!

Part of what makes movies like PotC so attractive right off is the surprise factor. 2 and 3 didn't have that, but they were FAR from terrible.
