Is the link to the Great Hunt site posted anywhere? And to that failed guess list? I can't seem to find anything on these new forums.

Gave a few a try, all failed of course. I figured we might see a little of Gawyn in the book if we're seeing Galad. They were long shots anyway.

The first thing I tried was using the numbers on a phone but that leads to either pry or spy which are not on the list of the words in both chapters in EotW.

 

The second thing I tried was to check the date. Wikipedia didn't have anything for either July 7 or July 9 for any year.

 

The best I could come up with is that in Matthew 7:7-9 Jesus talks about knock and the door shall be opened. Door is on the list and could loosely fit the other clues. Usually it is door number 3, not third door. Moiraine went through the doorway to the land of the finns. Any way I tried a few door titles like

As far as choosing BS could choose door number 3, I guess.

 

*Edit* a tweet on the tgh line mentions that BS finished tWoK on 7-7-9 and there is a chapter 53 in that book. That is much better then my idea. *Sigh* It is too late here. I should have went to bed hours ago.

Could it be 'wolf'? It appears in ch 1 + 2, and would satisfy the "coincidentally" requirement if there is 1. Also ch. 53 of TDR has the wolf picture.

Damane is one of those irregular words where the plural form is the same as the singular form.

Try "The Truth about Damane"

The same goes for sul'dam - so try "The truth about sul'dam".
