ghoullio, I think you might have what I was grasping for. I don't know about removing the dragon from being bound and all that, but perhaps at least it is a clue to how he will die and yet live...by some aspect of what occurs breaking the ties that bind Rand so tightly in his role as DR. A very astute observation, there. I hadn't really compared it to the likely outcomes of TG.

As a side note, what's up with all the hostility on here? Jeez...even if you don't like the idea, no need to have everything everyone says be some sort of backhanded slight.

In addition, even if that is the solution for the complete foreshadowing angle, Im still not entirely convinced LTT was only referring to himself and his being bound and so on...I think there is more to the whole deal with the connection to the DO than has been revealed so far...especially given that it seems likely to be pivotal to the sealing.

It's a hubris thing, dude. It's hard to get around sometimes. People memorize every line in the books and castigate those with opinions different than theirs...

True. And I suppose it is different than back when I used to post on the old WOT board. The series is drawing to a close and perspectives are less about "wow, where could this be going" than they are about "Man, this is where it BETTER be going..." lol
