I'm sure you know how to break it down, but I'll just repost here anyway:

 

To help explain it, here are two examples. Let’s say you are given a buying allowance for strength of 28 points, and a skill of 37. Version 1 allows you your fullest potential in strength; Version 2 is where you choose a higher than normal score in one given element and it causes your strength to drop.

 

Version 1

 

Air 7 (cost 7)

Earth 5 (cost 5)

Fire 4 (cost 4)

Spirit 5 (cost 5)

Water 7 (cost 7)

Total strength: 28 (cost 28) + Skill: 37 = Potency: 65

 

Version 2

 

Air 6 (cost 6)

Earth 7 (cost 9)

Fire 2 (cost 2)

Spirit 6 (cost 6)

Water 4 (cost 4)

Total strength: 25 (cost 28) + Skill: 37 = Potency: 62

 

 

Please ensure you send your breakdown to us in the same format as the above examples, and everything is added up (correctly!).
