my mom didn't get married until i was 20. great grandma and great grandpa didn't have such a happy marriage i think, so we lost the inclination.

yes, but i was asking specifically, cause, i dunno, cool.

happen in SA too, white dutchmen and whatever locals were around that time (probably Khoi/hottentot/strandlopers)

happens everywhere, though not at the rates originally predicted. cultural variables play a bigger part than expected.
