as i've said before, for many years home alone was the most popular comedy of all time. popularity is meaningless. the humans and other social animals are prone to herding behavior.

I don't like soccer. I like hockey, football and the occational live baseball game.

 

And, I prefer renting to being a home owner for the landlord to fix things. I had to get things fixed at the last house and it can be quite costly.
