But not straight involved conversation for hours straight every day.

But...talking to someone for a few hours straight occasionally is just fine, depending on the person.

But, apparently, my mom doesn't believe me when I say there are people who ARE like that.

She says maybe that's why my friends are ignoring me, because I burnt them out with all the talking.

Because the friends that are ignoring me, started ignoring me during periods of time where I didn't have time to talk to them long, or even at all.

But my mom insists that every single person in this world I'll ever meet...

Cannot handle more than an hour of talking to any one person every day.

That I am THE ONLY person in this WHOLE WORLD who can talk to someone for a couple hours a day and not get tired of it.

Yeah, sometimes there's not much to talk about so I don't press it when that happens.

And I'm supposed to believe I'm the only one in the whole world like that?

Honestly....I think it would be almost like a friendship dealbreaker for me if I wasn't able to talk to someone for a few hours with no ill effects.

But if there's lots of stuff to talk about...and we have to stop talking because the person is sick of talking...

I can still be on friendly terms with them, and be friendly acquaintances.

But I wouldn't feel like I could count them one of my few actual friends.
