Only proper food fight I've ever been part of was in second grade and ended with some poor kid taking an apple to the face LOL. Best day..

Sounds like it hurt! You are only supposed to throw the soft foods.

*throws some applesauce*

It was short-lived. How was the ride home? Are you getting any crappy rain or is it just up here?

i'm on a hill, but they've evacuated within a couple of miles quite a few times this fall. not much left of anything now. where i work they've evacuated twice so far. so don't need the rain.

it can be nice. the economy's been dead since the 80s, except for the frakking, which has destroyed a lot of the land and will destroy more before it's done. but it can still be very pretty. just can't really drink the water anymore.

See, that just seems so strange to me.... The first half of my life I lived in Dubuque, Iowa, which is known for its clean water. It gets its water from an underground spring, and has a huge plant for water purification..... Admittedly, having lived away from there for a while, every time I go back the water "tastes" weird because it HAS no taste.... But it's totally pure.

And since moving away, even though the water has its own flavor in the places I've lived, it's still drinkable from the tap. I can't imagine living from bottled water.

The tap water in a lot of the places I've lived tastes nasty. Even with purification systems, it still tastes bad when it comes from a bad source, and the local reservoir back home was DISGUSTING
