In fact, I've only been able to sit and talk to one person online in the past week....

They're sitting RIGHT NEXT to each other and they are talking as loudly as if they were in different rooms of the house.

My dad has big lungs and a powerful voice, so I think my siblings inherited that from him.

Their natural speaking voice is loud enough to be annoying when things are quieter.

But when they get like this, the only other thing that I've been able to make work is having them run around the house until they settle down.

It's too cold for that at the moment, and I'm not in charge anyway. They're supposed to be doing chores...

Hmmm....it's cold, but I hadn't really thought about the s-word till my sister just brought it up...
