good morning, yay cards for the joy they have brought, and yay not monday.

 

and... yay at least 6 inches of snow for today. and guessing that's a lowball prediction.

About the same amount expected here, and a nor'easter Tuesday.

yep. excellent winter. and it won't be winter for 2 months. very nice. kind of thinking of a new car instead of just new tires... but.... really used to not making car payments, and not sure anything else would be better or even as good in the snow.

I'm trying to hold off until summer to get a new car. Mine is getting up there in age though. Haven't had a car payment in 3 and a half years.

driving an 03 CRV with over 140K on it, paid off on 09. still has some value for trade in... but don;t see myself shelling out for a honda at this point. the only dealership in town is ford, which... is ford... but is also very convenient. not sure what to get if i did buy. last time i was buying in fear, just had a bad accident, so i paid a lot for safety. now i'm not so scared. still, nice to have something that will bounce a deer off it and not get me killed.
