Tonight it's Captain America, roast duck, fried noodles, dim sum, fried rice, peking soup and green tea. :D

I'm not a big fan of oriental food. XD

i love it but i have to make it myself unless i'm at work. and at work it sucks.

My only experience with eating food at work is eating Mickey D's because that's where I worked forever... XD

The cafe on the 1st floor at work makes decent food.

That's good. If you have to eat crappy food, it just makes everything worse, imo. XD

the guy they let sell food at work makes crap. the local delivery and take out is... local. and crap.

 

there are good things about small towns. getting decent food delivered isn't one of them.

I believe it. That's the only thing I like about where I live--it's just big enough that we don't have to drive 45 minutes to IA City just to shop; we can, and there's more variety there, but there's enough stuff here that it's fine. We have a Wal-Mart, Hy-Vee, Pizza Hut/Wing Street (and Pizza Ranch XD), a few Chinese food places, a Mexican restaurant, another sit-down restaurant, Subway, McD's....2 Casey's, 2 BPs, a Sinclair.... Man, thinking about it...we're packed. XD

depends on what you'd call a city around here...

 

i work sort of in a city as it's called. but it is a dead city, and was never big even in the heyday of the defense industries that built it. some decent italian food can be found, but who can;t make decent italian food?

 

i live about 200 miles from the closest source of decent asian food.

Wow...that is a long way for Chinese food.

yeah. so if i want it i have to make it. which i can and do when i feel like it. but really not the same as picking up the phone and having someone bring you your heart's desire.
