I love how in the title of the thread they used to use commas to separate the thousands, but I think Tina put in a point

If you didn't know what wind was it would be quite weird to see the trees randomly moving around by themselves and leaves flying into the air

...unless you were also unaware that trees can't normally move by themselves and leaves aren't usually in the habit of flying

. is for decimal places and , is for thousands, but I think most of the rest of Europe does it the other way around...

. for decimal places, but some people use commas...

 

and spaces separating thousands, or commas, is all vair confusing out of context I suppose
