I had to blind a pet rock to get some googly eyes for that birthday card...

I'm sure it was the most wonderfuliest birthday card I would have ever received

well antibodies do sugarcoat the bacteria, easy mistake to make

That's part of what antibodies do - so it marks them like a little flag, it also physically helps the macrophages et al get to grips with the bacteria and ingest them (that's the sugar-coating part).
