I need to get to some vodka though... Haven't been in like a month... I think it might just be another Liquor weekend.... Which means im gonna have to try this....

Is it a birthday ball? Because I think the AF celebrated their birthday earlier this month...

 

 

Our's is the Marine Corps Birthday Ball. Normally the ball is held around the 10th of Nov (the actual birthday) but my husband will be in Afghanistan by then, so we are celebrating early. I never remember much of them... But pictures tell all, and it's always a blast!

It wasn't for its b-day but i know it's either in October or novemberr

Let's just put it this way.

 

 

You get to the hotel. Start drinking. Normally there is a couple 24 packs, a few handles, and someone has something really strong tucked away in a flask somewhere. Get ready, drink some, then go to the ball. Flasks come with. You sit down with two drinks and two shots and listen to the ceremony. And you drink. And drink. For at least two hours, you drink, no eating, no getting up.

 

 

Then, you get up. Get two more drinks. And you're finishing a flask. Then there is some food. Then dancing. Then you start drinking for the corps. Next thing you know, you're out of your clothes and into club outfits, in the back of a cab. Suddenly, you're dancing on a bar. Then somewhere along the way, people have cigars and your flask is refilled. Then it's 10am and you gotta check out and nurse your hangover at home.

 

 

 

Typical ball weekend.

I went to a discoteca once....I wasn't tipsy enough to consider dancing....
