Poor Moghedien has been through so much and she's kind of low on the chosen totem pole- if anyone deserves a break it's her! I say she deserves to take him down!!

He put in the hard yards, he's already died at least once that we know of by Rand's hands. And what a public shaming that was.

He crossed Balefire streams with Rand, giving him a unique insight into his enemy.

I think he has the motive, the means (the True Source), and the intestinal fortitude to do it. All he needs is the opportunity.

Ed has it correct, Moridin and Rand peed on the same wall in Shadar Logoth while killing Sammael, and Rand being the cocky arrogant sucker that he is, crossed streams with Moridin. Moridin freaked out so much he headbutted Rand, but as Rand's skull is rather thick, this just caused both of them to be temporarily blinded. It was pretty bad.
