This one has had me stumped a long time. I have a couple of guesses prepped now though.

In watching these games (as there seems to be not much else happening at the moment), I believe I have discovered Fnorril's secret. He plays WOT scrabble and has made a special dictionary that lists all the words according to their length. This means as soon as you announce the puzzle he just has to turn to the pages with, for example, 8 letters and then wait for a few correct letters to guess the answer.

Nope but it would be a good way!

 

Like i said- i had an interest in cryptology a year or two back

Thank you, thank you, I'm most honoured to have won this prestigious competition. :biggrin I'd like to thank all my co-competitors for making it fun and for closing me down especially paet who did very well and mills got a great guess as well but i thought everyone played well. I would also like to thank Wolfie for running it he did a great job and put in a lot of effort im sure we can all thank him for keeping us very entertained indeed.
