what i don't understand is why the frosting wasn't made out of cream cheese. that would be better. my friends' dogs told me so.

I don't think any of that matters, since the cake is a lie, after all

if i wanted my illusions shattered i'd look around me, instead of at this screen.

The cake is a lie because it's actually a Sheppard's Pie, which is still yummy, but still not cake.

oh, i thought it was a lie cause it's fondant and buttercream, and probably not really meatloaf underneath.

 

but still, when i bake cakes for pets, it's meat loaf made out of babyfood and frosting made out of cream cheese and sour cream. and they like it.

The Illusion is not broken, merely bent a little around the edges. I don't know if I would go through the trouble a baking a cake for a doggy. I mean, the dog really doesn't care what it looks like, or how much time you spent making it look like a cake. They just care that they're getting their noms!

the baking is for the baker. but they like baby food and cream cheese.
