Rules of Engagement

1. We are the ModGods, our words are law, if we will it, so shall it be.

 

2. Editing is allowed but beware that doing so may cause you harm (Not from the Mods). Other players may become suspicious if you edit your posts.

 

3. You MAY NOT under any circumstances discuss this game except on the game thread or a designated QT thread. Nor may you quote any part of any communications we may have with you or information from any QT threads.

 

4. This is a CORONER game. Upon death Character, Role and Alignment will be revealed.

 

5. No personal insults... play nice my pets - or We may compulse you with a PR

 

6. Day One will be 5 real life days. Days run for 72 hours and nights 48 hours. Weekends are counted as half days.

7. This is a modified hammer game. There are 2 ways to reach a Lynch in this game. To reach a Quick Lynch before deadline you will need to have 50% +2 votes on a person. If the Lynch lasts till deadline then a 50% +1 will secure a Lynch. Any votes cast or recanted after the Quick Lynch Hammer Vote will not count. Conversely, if a majority is not reached the Lords of Random.org will get to decide who dies from the pool of those who haven’t voted.

 

8. Night will be ended when all night actions are received or the deadline passes - whichever happens first.

 

9. You get one BAH post after death - DO NOT reveal any information in your BAH post or the ModGods will not be pleased.

 

10. Votes and unvotes MUST be colored RED, please try to remember to remove the coloring in quoted posts if you can.

 

11. Any player who has not checked in by the end of Day One will be replaced. Inactivity will not be tolerated. If you fail to participate after being reminded by the ModGods, you will be replaced.

 

12. *steals Lily's/Ama’s rule* no self-votes! And, no votes for NoLynch!

 

13.The ModGods reserves the right to amend these rules at any time.

15. All players must post at least 1 game related post each day. If the ModGods feel that you are not contributing to the game you will be given a warning. If it continues you will be replaced.

@locke- Basically If you quote someone who has a vote in their post than we would appropriate it if you could uncolor the vote, if you forget it is not a big deal. but it helps us mods to keep track of votes easier.

I'd rather you have some sort of knowledge, preferrably a Basic game at least. But if you feel like you can do it, you can. I would ask that you please read the Newbie Guide on Mafia Scum, though.

I'll participate. I think it'll turn out less difficult than it looks like. I mean, I am bored at school, while I do the highest grade there is... So if I am not clever enough, then the game is just too difficult for this world.

Yeah, it's not too bad Ley. My first game was also an advanced BT game (one of Talya's Christmas ones) Several things are confusing at first, but one learns.
