I used to live in the country at the end of a several mile long ungraded path... Definitely pros and cons.

pros: privacy, space, room to have a garden, and animals, to play paintball, to look out the window and not see humans. the ability to do whatever you want without people getting in your business. within reason. or without it. safety from riots and other unnatural disasters. fresh air. lawn darts. fireworks. wildlife. fishing. hunting. peace and quiet, except for lawnmowers and four wheelers and shooting practice. being too far away from work to ever be called in in an emergency. i could go on, but our attention spans are short.

sounds great, but does travelling back and forth not take a long time

that would be the main con, yes. but it's also one of the pros a lot of the time. work is good to drive away from. and it's good to have the hour in the morning to prepare for the evils of the day.

I prefer the rural to urban by a slight margin, not that I eat margarine

i would prefer suburban, but there is no such thing anywhere near.

I don't really care where I live. Or don't live.

i care cause i have to *gag* work to pay for it, and i'd like a light at the end of that tunnel
