richter is richter in english, too. yah, it doesn't surprise me they make mistakes like that. like here, nobody is used to earthquakes. didn;t you say when we had ours that you guys were in the least geologically active area in the world or something? cause all this geological activity in inactive areas is very worrisome to me.

Well, there is some very weak thing in the south east of the Netherlands. But there has only been one earthquake that has caused damage in the Netherlands. And I don't think it ever happened anyone died here.

 

We also have some human-made, by the way.

Like when the gas is all pumped (is that the right word???) up. The ground sinks down a bit. We have it in the northern part. But they're only something like 2.5 on the _____ of Richter.

Because Cindy quietly posts awesome stuff, and this is well recognized within the Black Tower. (She's one of the few people whose posts I could probably recognize by words alone, for she posts in the Cindy style which is a good one.)

 

And Ley, that's how most points are earned: Through effort. Most of the time when people are giving you points from their pool, it's not something you actually tried for. (pics/videos are the usual exceptions)

Glad your making it through the awful east coast weather. I lived thru a few Hurricanes and such when I was back there a long time ago.

 

Glad to be out west where we only have to worry about the earthquakes and wildfires and falling into the ocean to become shark chow. Oh wait we just got a Thunderstorm warning but it is going away from where I live.
