frankly, santa and me aren't really on each other's radar. see the hebrew hammer for a deeper understanding of the ambivalent santa feelings of my peoples. so, he can fly on the back of a golden eagle for all i care. i know who's paying for the kids' toys, and it aint no old swedish guy with a white beard and a team of high flying reindeer.

 

what i'm really wondering is how long to age the reindeer, adn then dry rub or marinade?

You gotta use the coupons in the big Toys R Us ad that comes out in November. I think a briny marinade for Rudoplh, Dry rub the moose.

good advice. the little buggers are getting laptops this year, tho (beleive it or not, ends up cheaper than all the toys), so waiting for best buy to realize how dead the economy is and drop the prices close to the big day.

Cool. I got my laptop for a pretty good deal at BB. got the comp, a printer/scanner and some misc stuff for less than 350. of course that was '09.

i'm thinking under 450 for each, and that's more than they need, but they play games, which can take a lot out of a laptop. i won;t feel the necessity to make a big pile of presents like i do when it's toys, so it'll be the cheapest christmas since they were toddlers. and their parents can get them the games and stuff.

They will definitely love their aunt Cindy for getting them laptops. The next gen of the BT.

I approve of the general direction of this thread. I had no idea when I started it we'd be talking about marinading Rudolph, the Hebrew Hammer, and laptops separating the men from the boys.

i'm not sure we ever did endorse that last one.
