My daughters book "Monsters and Dragons" says that gremlins can give scientists new ideas and they can help us with technical stuff but we have to send them our thanks. When we don´t do that (because most people have forgotten about them), they get angry and then they hide our things and break our dvd.

I bet that works too, Cindy.

I have my own tech god, which I´m very grateful for. Whenever I have problems with my computer I just call him and he comes over.

Welcome my dear...sorry a bit late...burnt the first lot of brownies, so had to saty and cook some more for you >.>

*Hands her a plate of Tainted brownies*

Been one of those weeks!

Belated welcome to the BT, Nyanna!

Do you like Hobbits?

If you do, why not try some Hobbit stew, brought to you by yours truly? >.>

Yes I like Hobbits!

Also, wow thanks, that's so nice of you! *raises spoon to mouth but stops* This doesn't contain any Frodo does it? I'm not so fond of Frodo...

Oh, speaking of gremlins, any powdered gremlin spice in da house?

I don't see the problem with your window Nyanna... Oh wait do you want me to make the rest of the windows match that one, for fung shui and everything to match? Okay then...

*rolls up sleeves*

Nope, no Frodo. Frodo'd already left Middle Earth by the time my gateway opened in the Shire. And I think Master Samwise's great-grandchildren were getting somewhat old, too.

So no one you know, and no one important. >.>

True, but this works just as well for his purposes, and fits, too. Everything you need to know is in the thread.

I'm not comfortable enough with him yet to be that blunt, so I have to use subtle hints instead. The cold hard fact of etiquette.

Exactly I only needed to say it once. And nowI have so no need to go writing amazingly great Fantasy Epic. Although that could be good to, if I could only write and not feel I ripped off all the good stuff I've read.

That is something I have a hard time with, as well. Worldbuilding is my forte; I can usually come up with unique world ideas that don't really rip off anyone else's ideas. But plots? I suck at that. My NaNo novel last year had a great world that I intend to recycle when I'm a better writer and can do it justice, but my plot was lame, cliched, and borrowed from a few established works of fiction in an obvious way. Not to mention, I wrote myself into a corner with that. XD

writes, doesn't read. it's not an etiquette issue. this is what he says of himself. usually when he asks you to explain what he could easily find out himself, he is having you on a bit, and getting you to post more. the boy has an interesting sense of humor. do not underestimate it. :myrddraal:

Hmm, well it's not going to work on me...

I'm a tougher nut to crack than all that... (I hope)

But I do tend not to indulge people if it's not necessary, unless they're like my uber-buddies and I love them to death. >.>
