Yeah because of the fact that we know Asha'man can bond but don't have a ton of specifications from the books, we can take some poetic linerty here, but we have you wait until Asha'man level at least, because A. That is a sign that you are ready, and at proper rank to bond, and B. It's just an extra perk of being Asha'man

Yeah, Meesh and I Bonded here, in part because of the open formula this place allowed, leaving leeway for an extra bit of creativity. (which, I think, we took advantage of; you can check it out in the Village if you like) Also, there's been plenty of Bondings here in the past. They're all located in the Library ('Cept mine; I'm special. =D)

Heh, it's not often you see guys bonding guys in DM.

Also, I never knew you had to be Asha'man to Bond here. >.>

You can bond here, in fact you can do it however you wish and in what capacity that you wish. There have been no formal bondings though as it is each to their own. some people have even been force bonded (well get permission really ;) ). Some like to take on the master and slave bond, some bond mutally...it is up to each individuals to decide what they want.

There is nothing formal, because the BT in the books always seem to bonding when they feel like it and how they feel like it!

You can brother bond if you wish to...like I said it has always been up to those that wish to bond!

Muhahaha "master-slave" force bonding! That could be fun! tongue.gif

Actually looking for a puppy dog to have hanging around and looking at me adoringly..... ;)

Watch out guys!

Locke, being an Asha'man must be a new thing talm has decided, I don't remember it either...but then we have to have some benefits for being and Ashie...

Tina, it would be fun for me, but I'm not sure he would enjoy it...

come on Pae...SIT!

I'm actually likin the ideaa of a rivalry bond more and more, kind of an archnemesis bond, mebbe a little like what Rand has with Moridin, or Padan Fain for that matter. Like you despise the other person you're bonded to, with every fiber of your being, the passion of which enflames an anger consuming every mote of your essence, someone you'd go out of you're way while jumping off a skyscraper just to try and hit; and at the same time you wouldn't know what to do without em. Kind of a Megamind vibe. I call dibs on Turin.

Or we can do another male on male bond, and call it the "Spartan battle buddy" bond where we all (and by we I mean all of us manly manly men) partner up with our Spartan battle buddy, who helps cover our flanks in battle.

I call dibs on Talniko.

Ok, so all of the bonds I'm getting here are a

protect each other in battle bond

a hate each other with all of your guts but are bound bond

a master/puppy-slave bond

and I feel like I'm missing a few since I'm still half asleep :P

we should have guidelines about this somewhere.... :P

Well there is also the AS/Warder style bond, but that may be what you're referring to when you say Master/puppy-slave bond.

It would be a version of it. Same weaves and practical applications to the bond, less formal tho and not requiring consent

I'll be adding a post about this into the BT Info thread, but basically you have a wide variety of bonds to choose from. Mine for example, with Charis, was a mutual bond in a more traditional format, and I'm also bonded to her as her Warder in the WT.

The point is you don't have to stick to that, but you certainly can if you want. A bond in the Taint doesn't have to be the most sane and logical thing you know?

There used to be force bondings...caught off guard and you could be bonded, lol....I Desiree had a few of those, either for herself or she was bonded! But yes Mad is always a good thing, lol.

The slave master bond, is nothing like the Warder/Aes Sedai bond, lol
