"The characters are likeable and come across as well-defined individuals…The world-building, despite borrowing terminology from the Romans is good, blending the familiar with the unfamiliar. The descriptions and conception of the Shadowland creatures are vivid and worthy of a Simon R Green story. The waystalkers have a unique culture and way of life. The fight scenes are what makes this book stand out and I would describe as Gemmellian in their awesomeness. Fans of heroic fantasy would certainly be pleased with them.” – Amazon reviewer, Noor A Jahangir"

That's one of the reviews of a novel which I recently read which has just become available on amazon and other sites as an e-book (as well as a few hard copies on demand). The trick is, the guy who wrote it is one of my best friends. However, I tell you honestly, the book is GREAT! Give it a read. I wouldn't reccomend it to you all if I didn't believe that. I got myself a signed first edition copy, just in case ;) I think you guys would really enjoy it.

Is his blog. Follow it, read the book, even review it, whatever you want. But I promise its well worth a read if like me you're always looking out for a new, unique fantasy plot. And hey, if it does start to get known, you can say you were there from the beginning ;)

Do you play with lions?

*has a mental picture of Elgee playing with lions.......* That's going to haunt me now. *ggls*

Atleast it's better than asking whether we have toilets. "A toilet? What's that?? We don't have toilets... but we do have the internet..."-.- *dies a little inside

I'll look into getting it on the Kindle.
