I use GIMP too. I like it. Always do learn new things with it.

GIMP is just brilliant. I wish it had a pivot on axis option though, rather than just a sheer, flip or tip back/forth.

 

There have been times when I really wanted a pivot, to change the angle/perspective of an image. I like that I've finally found a form of creative medium that I'm actually quite good at. I've always wanted to be able to draw/paint - but am absolutely rubbish. This way I get to create the image in my head, without my inept art skills ruining it completely lol

I feel I'm better with painting/drawing than with making siggies, but the only way to get better is to keep trying.

 

I often had red hair because I love red hair but when Freja was born I realized that I didn´t know what my own hair color looked like anymore so I decided to not dye it. (I might have done it one time? Can´t remember.) My hair color is the boring Swedish color and my sister says I should dye it but I´m not letting here do it again. lol

Turin, I've figured out why it won't work!! It's only 430 wide. That's why it keeps looking strange when I try and add it in. If I make the picture the right size the writing all goes fuzzy Yours is much better than mine, I don't suppose you could re-size it to 500x125?

I would re-size it in GIMP. And then add the text on afterwards. I don't want to put you to any trouble - I can alway correct the appalling spelling in my lesser version lol.

 

GIMP is free and is an excellent image manipulation program. If you are thinking about making siggys and wotnot - it does everything you need really.
