    Anyone else excited about the silva vs sonnen fight? The card is stacked!

     

    As to betting...UFC is a gamble.

     

    I like betting on hockey. The Devils were given 25-1 odds to win the cup at the start of the playoffs. Hockey playoffs are pretty wide open.

     

    Now in the NBA there are really only like four teams that have a realistic chance of winning in any given year so I wouldnt gamble on a longshot. The team that wins will be one of the favorites so the risk/reward isnt as enticing to me.

    Silva v Sonnen is the fight I have been looking forward to the most since the end of their last fight. Fantastic showing by Sonnen and great heart from Silva in finding a way to win that fight.

    Well guys on MMA I dare to risk any money on it. Even my friends do betting on it but m not. Rather than this i do horse betting.

    When I watch with friends we put $3 on 3 round fights and $5 at on five round fights...the host takes half the pot to cover the cost of ppv, and the other half is invariably spent on beer.
