Fun fact: that song was in the musical (my second favorite song of the musical) and then they wanted it in the second movie so they made it the opening song of that movie

Ok, sometime I want a combined version of Lion King and Lion King 1 1/2 because I'm thinking of all of the little one liners in 1 1/2 in this movie :P

Nala: Have you guys seen Simba?

Timon: I thought he was with you.

Nala: He was but now I can't find him. Where is he?

Rafiki: [chuckles] You won't find him here. The King has returned.

Nala: I don't believe it. He's gone back.

Timon: What?

[looks up and sees Rafiki has disappeared]

Timon: Hey, what's going on here? Who's the monkey?

Nala: Simba's gone back to challenge Scar.

Timon: Who?

Nala: Scar.

Pumbaa: Who's got a scar?

Nala: No, no, no. It's his uncle.

Timon: The monkey's his uncle?

Nala: *No!* Simba's gone back to challenge his uncle to take his place as king.

Timon, Pumbaa: Ohhh.

And as Simba takes his place, everyone's mouth hangs open, the Pridelands begin to heal, the clouds break to show the beautiful stars, and music that gives me goosebumps plays

Hmmm.... At the end of The Lion King, Timon and Pumbaa are up there with Simba and Nala for the presentation of Kiara.

At the beginning of the second one, it's just Simba and Nala.

Grr.
