Ew! Working on Saturday?

No. The 6th was Thursday.

 

Today was wonderful. Slept in, got a massage, went to friends for dessert and watched the Olympics.

I need to find something nice to do this weekend. any ideas? =P

I'm in Arizona visiting my son in the Air Force.

I need plans for my birthday...

My husband just reminded me we get to go out to dinner at Tahoe Joe's tonight without the boy and it's already paid for!  He bought some fund raising dinner tickets.

I dealt with sick kids. :-(

We got mild food poisoning, I think.

This weekend shall be celebrating my niece's 15th birthday (she is planning on having all her friends take their O.W.L.s ala Harry Potter style. Party should be fun. Potions OWL will involve baking things with very specific instructions in the kitchen.  

Omg! What a fun party!!! Sounds like something I need to do at the end of the school year! Haha

 

I'm going to a chainmail class/cookout on Saturday evening. I love that my kids are totally welcome at SCA events...

This Sunday my book club is having it's annual Oscar Party!   Pot luck, ballots, money and fun.

I'm hoping to sleep. And dye my hair. And sleep some more. Spectacularly uneventful weekend ahead. :D

Lol. I'm into the sleeping thing. It's raining here. Maybe a movie and lots of reading.

I saw Monument Men, then on Sunday, I went to my Book Club's Oscar Party.  

Gulf wars, gulf wars, gulf wars!!!

Painted a banner to go on our tent at Gulf. :) My husband is taking our oval marquee and filling it with a pile of relative newbies who needed tent space. He's the responsible adult. *chuckles* I wish I was going! 

 

I will be working on a painting that is my midterm project, and working on a few house projects. 

I'll be praying my children to my parents so I can head to Gulf Wars this weekend!!! Squeeze!!

I was sick this weekend so didn't do too much except get my older son part of his birthday gifts.

Packing to go work an anime convention this weekend. Leaving the kiddo with my parents. :) I will get back not long after my honey gets back from Gulf Wars. He is, reportedly, having a blast and being a hero. 

The upcoming weekend will most likely be spend catching up on all the uni work I missed while in London last week. Sigh, back to reality...
