I lived in Alabama for several years. Three years of that was in Montgomery (my dad was stationed at Gunter when it was still an Air Force Station - now it's a Base!) and three years off and on in Auburn while I attended Auburn University (WAR EAGLE!). I was a co-op student so it was a quarter in Auburn, a quarter in Florida (working), a quarter in Auburn, a quarter in Florida (working, and so on. They're on semesters now, though. Personally, I liked the quarter system!
