Seriously, what sort of mammal has venom?

Actually they aren't violent toward humans and the poison isn't super deadly. They have these spike things by their, for lack of a better word, ankles, that they use to fight other male platypus over who mates with who. Females don't have venom.

I've seen a platypus. They are cool. As are wombats and koalas and kangaroos and wallabys. I'm not so keen on the cassawarys.
