July Roll Call

Fun stories about water?

Well, I remember once, two years ago now (even a bit more, it was May), when I was in Austria with my brothers and parents, on holiday, and then my brothers and me made a dam in a river there from stones, which made the water fall something like 30 cm down. We are making such things all the time (or, better, whenever we have the time, aka once or twice each holiday), but we only once had made one where the water fell more than that, and that was in a river (actually, not even a river, but smaller) which had not a tenth of the water of this one.

I am here.

I usually enjoy water. There is a large river across the road from my house. It always has children swimming in it it the summer.

In honor of July's roll call, my roommate had to hold a bucket of water on the ceiling for 20 minutes until I came back with Jimmy Johns. I tickled her and it fell down on us though, so the water was well spent. I fully expect retribution from her any day now.

But I did buy her a Jimmy Johns.

Summer is not a Summer without some sailing. I love big lakes, the feeling of so much water around you!

I just returned from one. Two weeks at the lake is great. And nothern lakes are even better because there is not just a lot of water but they are beyond the Polar ring and it's always light there! :)))

I love water! I grew up in California and had a pool in my backyard. I'm part fish apparently!
