I wanted to walk out of Suckerpunch and ask for my money back

Blondie was too hot for me to want to walk out of that movie.

The action scenes were good, the acting average and the ending horrible

The ending was what made it. I thought.

I didn't work for the movie, made everything feel unbalanced and not well thought out

If we're taking parts of movies into consideration,t he last 1/4 of Hancock.

The rest of the movie was awesome but the ending was really lame IMO

I refer to parts of the movie since it's those parts that go together to make a whole, an exqample being if a movie had a horrible ending but great acting and action I would say it was okay. The other example is a Ewe Boll film which has normally bad acting, writing, shooting and nearly everything else.

 

So I can look past bad acting or writing or shooting, but not if it all compounds when you consider the film as a whole. You also have movies so bad that they are good.

George of the jungle was watchable while being stupid, the second mortal kombat film was just horrible

monkey bone was pretty bad but I know ppl who loved it

i'm thinking of everything ed wood ever did, which i hated until ed wood came out and... changed how i saw his work. all very subjective.

Which shows how understanding of a work can affect reception of the work

The 1998 American Godzilla is the worst piece of trash ever made. 14 years later, and my hatred for this film cannot be properly expressed in human speech. I was a teenage boy (the films target demo) when I saw this and still hated every second. I don't know how you can take a concept as inherently awesome as Godzilla and plop out this fat turd.
