...since Matty just made us all nostalgic and glowy with Calvin&Hobbes, I just got hit by the memory of a book series my brothers and I used to PORE OVER all day. I think the books are packed away in the container now but I am so finding them when I get back home!!!

Please tell me you two know this...at least heard of it, Pettson och Findus by the almighty Sven Nordqvist...ring a bell??? :D

Of course I remember Pettson and Findus. They didn´t exist when I was a kid but I have read them to the girls and also seen it in the theatre. Mucklorna is the best. I can´t understand how Pettson can stand Findus but they seem to be a good match.

Hm... The one where they celebrate x-mas or when they try to chase away the hen thief. My daughter thinks that the one when the king comes to visit is the best.

 

Did you ever read Mamma Mu? Maybe Mother Moo in English? About a cow and a crow. Same artist and even funnier.
