heck, no, this thread went up too late for me. been up since 5:30, got the shopping done before 7, making green tomato apple sauce, cleaning some more, getting ready to roast some chickens and i guess just roast the squash too for dinner cause i'm out of ideas except curry and i'm out of coconut milk as well so....

 

..... i should have relaxed....

Hehe I felt so musclesquashed this morning I didn't go along to surf again and am instead trying to relax here, yes.

 

Trying because I also have a few essays to write and they're just not...happening...writer's block or something >.<

 

I think I need to drink a lot of water..

Eeep glad I went into teh kitchen to get a drink because I just remembered I need to finish that bread dough mom started....

No, they ended up picking them yesterday. I'm making some chicken and zucchini for lunch - my mom decided to come over.

I just scrubbed hard with soap in the end...but I think there's still some stuck in my cuticles. Hmm *peers at fingernails paranoidly* :P

Yes, the dishes and laundry are never ending battles.

the pellet things will bake into the bread, it'll be fine. or over the garbage or out the door. scrubbing only spreads theyeasties... good luck.

 

i wanna bake bread now but it's evii. i'll clean something instead.

It's still to warm here for me to really want to bake anything. Is it fall yet?

fall blew in on a hard wind yesterday afternoon. that's why i'm roasting chickens and squash and stuff.

I really can't wait for fall, it should hopefully be hitting by next weekend here.

it started on august 1st, the pumpkins all started turning orange at the same moment. but the wind in the leaves sounded exactly like october yesterday. and the nights are into the 50s already.

Oh, nights in the 50s sounds wonderful. It's been very warm/hot here for a long time. My birthday in March was even warm. Not typical NE weather.

it's been a miserably hot, humid summer.... the days still got into the 90s last week but i think it's turned around.

I just checked the forecast and Saturday is supposed to be in the 70s. I hope that is true.
