Happy anniversary! It feels like you have been here much longer than a year. Although I remember when you came here and I had used to get you mixed up with AH. :)

Happy DMversary Ayla.

Here is a lovely cake that has clouds and rainbows and other things from way up in the Air for you.

Cake is nice.

O_O..................................II............have seen the pearly gates..................and they are good........they are good

I think they're those Italian... or is it Greek? cookies that are made on a waffled thingy you dip in hot oil with just a wee bit of cookie batter on... what are they called? they have them at fairs sometimes.... anisette flavored.... but maybe these are different things...

Everything about that picture looks appealing. I'm not normally huge on deserts.. something small will tide me over for a while, but wow... it just looks so good

the cookies you are thinking of are called pizels(sp). I had a pizel maker once but I lost it in a move. I love the anice flavored ones.

Of course, the ultimate in british biscuit type creations are

Jaffa Cakes

Revel in their soft spongy base, yummy chocolate and smashing jaffa orangey bit.

Nomnomnom

Only a select few of those of you not of these shores, will have been fortunate enough to partake in them.

yes, that's the ones.... I used to have one too but ... really not practical for home use.

The biscuits are just chocolate digestives lol - a mainstay of the english biscuit market :)

still yummy.
