I solved the problem. Doing my busy-work homework IS a hobby (albeit, probably not a very fun one), you no longer have "nothing to do" and it up to you whether you are still bored or not.

 

Didn't you learn not to tell your mother you were bored when sitting at home? That's like asking for extra chores.
